i was driving home the other day when the coolant light came on so i pulled over and i didnt have any in the resivour i had filled it the night before so i refillied it and went home when i got home it smoke barreled out from under the hood when i looked to see where it was leaking from it seemed to be leaking from the water pump so i assumed it was coming from the " weep " hole right behind the fan pully and that might pump was shot but i then took it apart and it did not seem to be coming from there does anyone know where it could be coming from ???

 

I had the same experience last Summer. Same scenario. I suspected the leak was coming from the weep hole. It turned out It was the gasket to the Front Housing to Water Pump Housing. This after buying a new Water Pump. Look Into that. It's cheap Insurance, seeing how you'll be going Into their anyway.
