Well, with all the dog's "knowledge", project finished. ONLY 7 HOURS. Pulled fan, shroud, and took off belts. Being first time on FC, labeled everything. Pulley on pump, didnt know had to pull off other pulley to get to that one bolt on the pump. Oh well, live and learn. Proceeding nicely, scraped off old gasket material, and proceeded with thin layer of Permatex to new pump and block, with gasket and put together. While I waited to set, didnt need to, I pulled of Air pump to extract bolt that was sheared off. Got lucky. A little WD-40, a hammer with a tiny chisel, was able to catch an edge, and it walked right out. Parts store, "open one"
had very few metric bolts, but caught another break, wala, all back together. No runs, no drips, no errors. For those of you who responded with advice on gasket, for those of you who didnt, but had many posts or threads about this subject, the Dog would like to say thank you. Took probably 6 hours longer than a 'MECHANIC" would have, but I paid myself, not him, and am smarter for doing it. Thanks for putting up with my BS, and hope this gratitude and appreciation is taken at heart. You folks are the best, and I couldn't have done it without you all.
