Water Level Sensor Wire- Where does it Go????

Water Level Sensor Wire- Where does it Go????

hey guys, i was driving around the other day and all of a sudden my coolant light and buzzer went on. So i go out to look in my overflow tank and notice that the wire the comes out of my waterlevel sensor was wripped and dangling out the bottom of the car. where does this wire go to? plz help the buzz its getting insanely annoying. thanks -alex

That goes to the sensor at the rad cap.

You'll need a workshop manual. There are site you can view a complete manual.

Yes, the buzz is probably the most annoying sound ever. The low level sensor is on top of your radiator slightly towards the passanger side.

oh no no. i know wher the water level sensor is, its thewire thats connected to that that is dangling and i have no idea where the other end of the wire is supposed to go-alex

oooooooooooh i hate that sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a radiator leak, and damn that thing would go off like every 20 minutes, and i had to fill er back up..... i was about to throw something!


BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ,



but hey its doing it's job.

The buzzing sucks. I had that buzz gone off forever until I fix the center idoit cluster and found that the coolant light was on. Sit in the car for ten minutes and you want to pull your hair out.

no no see the wire leading from the sensor is ripped and not connected to anyhting, therefor there isnt a signal comming from the sensor to the car to keep the buzz light off. my coolant is full as well

there isnt another wire dangling aroudn that would look like the other end to it either. anyone know?

Look at the passenger side inner fender forward and down behind the passenger side headlight. It comes out of that harness over there next to those two relays.
