water level sensor

quick question.

i bought a water level sensor from mazdatrix, and the connector is a round female one. how do i change it to the flat male one for the oem conector that comes from the car? do i have to splice the wires and attached the old connector from the oem sensor and attach it to the new one?

Just one wire.
The connectors arnt much though, most auto parts places have them. Its called a spade connector. The round ones are "bullet" connectors. Just cut one of the wires, crimp the connector that you want to use on there and plug it in. Hard wire just means that you have to cut the damn thing every time you replace it(or the next owner)

Yes you can. BUT if you crimp the matching connector instead of a butt splice. You won't have to cut the wire.
