Warning Buzzer Around Sharp Corners

Recently i've noticed that when taking sharp turns I get a warning buzzer. Doesn't happen all the time, but usually when i'm not going very fast but make a very sharp cutting turn. When i'm taking a long wide turn its never happened, even going really fast. I'm guessing its some sort of fluid sensor thats getting an air bubble on it or something when I make sharp turns, but its only really quick. Usually its just the buzzer, and none of the warning lights come on, but out of the corner of my eye one time I did see one come on only for a less than a second flash. I'm guessing the only things that it would buzz for would be low coolant or low oil, so would that mean i'm leaking one or the other somewhere? Or I just have an air bubble somewhere in my lines? Or could it be something not related at all?

That's nothing. I got the brake light to come on when cornering (fluid).

Your guess would be correct. It will be low oil level, as it'd be impossible to get the radiator sensor to trigger during cornering without it being so low you'd be already be overheating.
[ ...so would that mean i'm leaking one or the other somewhere?
Rotaries consume oil, you know that right?

I'll check all the liquid levels tomorrow morning. As far as the lights/buzzer go, which ones just do the light, and which ones will do the light and buzzer? I'm guessing the oil and coolant ones will buzz? I've had low brake fluid before when my master cyl. was leaking, so I know that one won't buzz.

Damn forum, I didn't even think i posted one of those, then they came up after the response that made those ones useless, but basically I thought something might be leaking since i just got the oil changed recently, but i'll check it out in the morning

Mine did it when the coolant level was low in the radiator, the dash light told me so.

I had the same issue, mine turned out to be a faulty sensor (Oil level sensor). It got worst over the time, as it would buzz even when the car was idling

It's the oil. Hard cornering will cause it to buzz even if it's at the "full" line. To make it stop, you have to put about 3/4Q in above the line...

agreed on the oil. it happened to me at my first autocross: the very last turn was a long hard u-turn straight thru the final timing light. by some insane coincidence, the buzzer would come on exactly as I was passing thru the light, and of course it would go away as soon as I straightened up. at the end of the day I checked my oil and was - sure enough - about 1/4 qt. low.

it was really cool though, to have the buzzer "signaling" the end of my run. heh heh.

I thought it was neat when my washer light would come on at the limit of my tires adhesion during a corner. Not saying I'd rely on it to tell me when to stop pushing but it was a funny coincidence.
