Warning Big Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Big Time Warning!! Plz! Read Asap
Guys there is a fake email going out
trying to represent themselves as PAYPAL.com
It says your account is on hold
cause they have lost your info and visit a (fake paypal site) and enter your info
It will steal your user name and password
FOWARD this warning to everyone you know!
Here is the exact email I got
The reason I was alarmed was that I did not have the email address(where I got the fake email) registered with paypal

We regret to inform you that due to system failure we have lost our backups of all accounts, so most of accounts are on HOLD status, including yours, if you want to continue our service without any trouble, then you are advised to please go to following Paypal.com page and enter your information, so that we can update your account information.
Please go to: http://www.paypal-ltd.com (New window will open)
If you do not want to enter information, then your account will be automatically DELETED after 28th April 2002
We really appreciate your help in this mater.

when I got that login page I entered
under username : fuckyou@suckcock.org
password: nicetryasshole
I think he got the picture hehe
this the link that open in hotmail

right click on the page under properties
you can see it is not paypal but 10.brinkster

I sent the owner of the brinkster.com domain the following e-mail:
To whom it may concern:
This is to inform you of a Paypal scam originating on one of your customer's sites. Please see the following URL:

This individual is fradulently posing as the actual paypal.com site, attempting to get usernames/passwords to users' actual accounts on paypal.com. While the URL listed in the above e-mail no longer works, this individual still has the page online and is still sending these e-mails.
Please see that this is removed from your servers immediately. You, and specifically the name under whom your domain is registered, will be reported to Paypal.com for further legal action should you fail to act promptly on this scam. Also, should you fail to act, a copy of this e-mail, along with a more detailed report of this abuse, will be sent to the Federal Trade Commission, the FBI, and your State Attorney's General Office.
