Warm start misfiring!!! HELP!
SIGH! another idle issue...
This is driving me nuts. Only happens on really warm days. Car misfires like ... well... exactly like a 4 cylinder car would sound like if it was running on 3 cylinders... idle is fairly low. If you keep the idle up, the car is perfectly fine. And if you go for a quick spin for like 10 seconds, it's perfectly fine up until the point when you shut it down and restart it when it's warm again. Only happens when:
A) quite warm outside
b) engine is hot
When the engine is warm but it's cold outside, it starts fine... no misfires... perhaps a low idle up until you take it for a quick rip....
Also noticed this... without the ac on the car almost stalls... with the ac on, it still hesitates and misfires like a bitch on a warm start (as mentioned above) but the idle is a bit higher.
Anyways, any light that you can shed on this will be much appreciated. Thank you!!!

if you're saying its totally fine otherwise i'd simply look for vacuum leaks...if its very hot out a cracked vacuum line would expand letting more air leak. OR your TB could be sticking when warm...id check the TPS and L/R adjust screw first. my lean/rich idle mixture adjust is toast...doesnt do anything when turned either way. need a new one

Boost/vacuum gauge is showing 18-20mmhg @ idle. I don't think it's a vacuum leak.
Adjusted TPS. I have an S5 T2, no L/R screw I wish I had one though

How are your Spark Plugs? That misfiring or popping could be attributed to a parial amount of exhaust gases being brought back In to the next cycle.
As for ACV removed than stalling on you, not sure. What was the condition of the Intake Manifold Valve (poppet valve found In the ACV)?
