Wanting to remove "rubstrips" from my S4 FC ? What year did they use screws to hold?

Wanting to remove "rubstrips" from my S4 FC ? What year did they use screws to hold?

Ok so before I paint my car I thought about removing the rubstrips from the sides of the car. Anyways I heard some of them used screws to hold them in place and I heard some used to use a glue like substance but no holes to be drilled. I wanted to know if anyone knew the years they put the holes on ? Thanks in advance.

The strips are held in by an adhesive, and the occasional snap fitting. There were no screws holding them in.

Pry gently at an edge, just to get it started. Then get some fishing line, and use that to kind of "floss" it off. It will cut the glue without having to bend the rubstrips back. Ive found this the easiest way.

or if ur like me ur passenger side one will come loose, and then come looser driving on the highway at 80, slap the wheel of a semi, break, and make u have to pull it off cause ur car looks stupider with it than without it, even with the adhesive still there lol
