the bar on the key either came unhooked from ur tumbler, or is getting caught like it does in my 88 TII.. the only way to find out is take the door panel off, and the best way i've found to access it is to unbolt both bolts on the door handle, u gotta have the window down to do one of the bolts and up to do the other... its a pain but it'll probly help ur issue tons...

also if u have automatic locks like mine, and they don't lock and unlock both doors when u lock and unlock the drivers side door, go under the hood to the main fuse block and check ur BTN fuse, it will get rid of those locks, the stock security system, and the horn, and probly other things too

also check to make sure your gas cap, trunk, and hood are closed... open them and close them again to be sure.... im not sure about all of them... but one of them i think keeps the alarm from engaging
