Most power, while still being quiet out of a Stock port N/A.... hmm...

my suggestion would probably be to go true duals all the way out of the back, tarting with either a custom or RB true dual header, 2 inch straight pipes back to your choice of mufflers, from fart cans for a really loud car to RB mufflers for quieter while still maintaining performance. I would use the RB TII mufflers to ensure enough flow through the mufflers...

I was also planning on making a custom exhaust. My question is which is more favorable. Using flanges at the connections or going with slipfit joints and t-band clamps.

RB header, borla XR-1 to a single exit exhaust on the passenger side with a 7" Magnaflow muffler.

That should do it :O.

Straight pipes straight off off the block, completely straight exiting half way threw one of the rear lights, no bends. Just straight threw the body.
