wanted: power
i have decided to keep my car a sleeper after listening to many suggestions, so i want to know what i can do to my car to make it very fast. im so sick of narrow minded ******** that think they know what they are talking about when they say "u only have 160 hp, ur car is gonna be so slow" and some have even said that my car will not run under 17 in the 1/4, i tell them they have no idea what theyre talkin about but i just want to show them what an rx7 can do, so if u have any tips or websites for cheap mods that can increase my power please let me know
ps: my friend had an AEM intake w/ K&N air filter stuffed away and sold it to me, but i havent added it to my signature yet

For $400...get at least a cat-back exhaust (CS single, $289) or try and get one custom bent for cheaper, and then get a header. Gut your cats or have a stright pipe made if you dont need emissions testing. And as 88IntegraLS said, weight reduction is a free mod that can really help, and lighter, smaller wheels would be better. But most importantly be very informed about how the car works, make sure it is up to 100% running condition with all routine maintenance (plugs, wires, filters, etc..) and read the stickies at the top of the forum and do searches for lots of good information. But ultimately you will not be fast in an N/A FC with a budget of $400....

set a goal. You want to be faster, but how fast? Set a quarter mile time or a Hp number or beat the ricer down the street (if you can't already).
