Walbro isn't enough?

MY goal is 400-500rwhp and I THINK I made the mistake of purchasing and installing the walbro 255lph fuel pump. Is this enough (with the proiper fuel setup) for my goals?

CARX7 made 469 on the RP pump, which is considered by some to be inferior to the Walbro pump.

walbro cant catch up to a ported motor and hybrid turbo with a rrfpr installed pushing around 300 at the wheels from what i understand. jeff over at rotary power had that setup in his FC.

well thats with the rrfpr though, it raises the pressure higher than what the pump can produce... if you get bigger injectors and an safc it would probably be a diff story.

so then you can't blame it on the pump, it has to be the regulator/injector comobo, my combo is goin to be 2x720cc/min injectors and 2x1600cc/min secondaries with an aeromotive frp.

is that a rising rate regulator? if so i'd recommend bell not aeromotive. hell even if its not, i'd still get a bell over aeromotive. http://www.bellengineering.net/

Did carx7 use a standard walbro fuel pump or the "high pressure" walbro?

I wouldn't use an SAFC on that much HP, it wouldn't be efficient enough.

true i didnt even realize how much actual rwhp he was looking for, id get a standalone first, before anything else, then add the fuel and get it tuned when you can afford it.

without a doubt I will be going standalone first, but I wanted to know if it was enough or if I should lookinto buying another fuel pump (or a second walbro) to get the proper fuel I need.
