in my na i pulled it out of the guys backyard, Towed it home,, it sat in my garage for about a monthwhile i cleaned it in and out, then i replaced clutch flywheel, exhaust, intake, plugs, wires, freed the 5th and 6th ports (frozen) got the engine running, swapped out all the hydrolics for my clutch, installed indash dvd and Tv, 5 channel amp and compents. but basically i took a junked car that was becomming a rust bucket in some dudes backyard into my daily driver.

for my turbo. i owned it for about a month and in that month , did, down pipe, custom tid, removed air pump, and emissions , ported wastegate 2 x's, ported turbo inlet. clean the engine bay, custom parking lights, boost gauge and gauge pod, turbo timer. and then finally a ENGINE PULL . hehehhehehe damn freeze plugs !! but she will be comming back

as for a project for 2005 i will have a nice clean car ready for a track/ road course by sping time putting down about 300hps safetly with a medium amount of boost. but the engine install should be in a few weeks when i get all the parts again

I am keeping the driveline tranny etc. Just the turbo and manifold are going. If you really are interested send me a PM and we can talk price, the turbo itself is in remarkable condition. I don't have the ECU either I sold that this week. I do have an S4 TII Flywheel and Cntweight though, and a pretty low mileage s4 tii clutch. It is a stock one but a replacement for the original.

My biggest plan is to supercharge my FC.

But that's expensive and I'm broke, so realistically I just want to convert my N/A to a turbo with a TII swap.

That and add as many annoying blue LED lights into the interior as possible.

EDIT: Those are my plans for 2005, I did nothing major to my FC in '04.

completely tearing apart my 89 TII(the only thing left was the frame on the ground) then selling as much as I could. 3 months later I bought a non running GTUs and I finished my turbo swap by April-May...the most work I have ever done on a car...ever...

My goal for 2005......learn to rebuild the tranny and engine.

My first time engine removal, tear down, rebuild/port, put everything back together, engine back in the car, hook everything up, fired up on the first try with no leaks or problems.

It was a good year

hmm where to start, swapped to five lug and gxl brakes and brake booster, gxl rear with lsd swapped in. new rims, removed air pump, A/C(didn't work or i'd have kept it), wheel spacers, cross drilled slotted rotors(that was a hell of a job, those rotors were stuck on there good), stage 3 centerforce clutch,SAFC-II, TB mod, intake, the list goes on, over all it was a great year for me and my car

Sucker, I'm driving mine through sleet and snow and having the time of my life.... when I get to an empty parking lot that is. I'm pulling my power steering computer connector until summer though, it get's way too loose on the freeway when it's slippery and get's pretty freaky.

My girlfriend's FC:

We removed EVERY single part (EVERY nut and bolt that could be removed was removed, every wiring harness out), welded together a jig for the car and bolted it to the frame, and then flipped the car upside down to begin the bodywork.

The car is undergoing a complete makeover.... every part with any wear is getting replaced, and the car is being stripped to bare metal for a full paint job.

To clarify: engine has been disassembled, tranny has been dissassembled, all of the stock rubber bushings removed, all of the wires, everything. I can't possibly think of any job on an FC that could be more intense.

Doing all of the Energy bushings. Well, I did wuss out and have a shop press the bushings in/out

But it was still a pain.

At the same time I did the RB springs, sway bars, rebuilt all of the brakes, ss brake lines, comp diff mount, and DTSS elim bushings.

Alot of work. Thanks for your help santiago!

How much did you end up spending on new bushings? Mine is creaking like an old man and feeling a little squishy around the corners.

I'd like to hear some things about the bushing replacements too.

A writeup would be cool if you ever have time... ;P

That's my next step kinda... well... it'll be a while, I'm way in debt and out of money lol.
