Wahoo! Cheap Upgrade!

After visiting my local junkyard i came away with a volvo 740 intercooler. I found numerous Fiero's, but the only V6 they had some ratbastard ripped the fan out of it already. But anyways, I'm pretty sure i saw a thread on here where somenoe made it so the radiator sits straight up, but i can't seem to find it...anyone know where it went?? I need it or i won't be able to fit the intercooler in there . Also anyone know where i can get some piping for it??

The intercooler is kind of a "hack" mod. That intercooler is not the best in terms of cooling and it has plastic end tanks. I have yet to see one installed that did'nt look major ghetto.

As fas as piping goes you could us pvc and some rubber connectors it would keep with the theme. No real point using aluminum, or stainless piping.

heh yea i know about the plastic endtanks, but i'm not going to have massive amounts of boost so any fmic should work just fine. i might get some aluminum endtanks welded on later, who knows.

If your going for function then it should be better than the top mount.
