waaaay too much boost

Hey guys my car sat for a week and today
I took it for a drive
the problem is my boost guage is htting 15+ lbs
and keeps climbing if I stay on it
and runs slow (maybe not slow ) but slower when it has just hitting 9 psi
well Ive checked everything
but check this out
I disconnected the stock Bov from the TID and stuck my cig lighter to plug the hole in the TID and now it seems to boost to my desired 9 PSI
why ??
(I love the woooooosh now

moving the BOV like that would not effect anything. you must have bumped something else while doing it. My guess would be the vac line between the turbo and wastegate has either come off or broken etc. that will make you boost sky high.
