Vortech inserts for your intake??? LOOK AT THIS
Wassup fellas
I was looking thru a mag the other day, noticing a add to supercharge your car for 69.99.
To good to be true?

talked to one of the reps. for the company www.spiralmax.com and asked him what the deal is. Seems that they are putting these inserts in there intake pipes and it starts the air circulating. Thus causing a higher capacity free'r flowing intake. He claimed a 15-30% increase in power.
You put one right after your air filter, and right before you throttle body.
The dork wanted $70 dollars for this!! I laughed and hung up. Looking at the web site I figured out how to make one.
So... I DID
IT's installed as we speak. haven't got a chance to see any performance differences because of this tropical depression.(florida) But as soon as it lets off I'll let you know.
If anyone is interested, I'll fax a diagram to you. It takes about 5 minutes to build and you can get the mat. at home depot.
and the best thing is it only costs about $$$$6

Don't waste your time with this product. It's just a gimmick! A buddy of mine did research on it and it would have no benefits for our cars (RX-7s).....one good reason is that our throttle body has three separate intake butterflies...and that would break up the air anyways.

Don't waste your time or energy. That is a total piece of crap. This has already been hashed out over a year ago. It is just stupid ****. I think Sport Compact Car did a write up about it and concluded it was ****.
