you have 2 air temp sensors.. one is in the air flow meter.. the other one (and chances are, the one that's either bad or disconnected) is on your throttle body.. remove your intercooler.. look where the TPS connector is.. you'll see a small 2 prong connector.. perhaps it was left unplugged...

the 2 sensors work together.. sends the ECU the air temp diffrence between the air you are swallowing at the air flow meter and the air temp after the intercooler.. .a malfunctioning sensor will lead to strange idle problems in most cases.. as well as poor running conditions..

I have a spare sensor if you find out you need it. I replaced it when trouble shooting my flooding problem and found out that it was not the problem. You should test yours first....I don't think they usually go bad.

Put your finger on the oil filler cap with the finger pointing towards the centerline of the car. Your finger is now pointing at the Dynamic chamber. Move your finger until it touches the Dynamic chamber. Just about three inches to the right is a small plug attached to the air temp sensor. Pull the plug off and you will see that it has two prongs. If the plug is on, take it off and gingerly spread the two prongs in such a fashion that when the plug is put back on , it will be a snug fit. Been there, done that. Most likely the code will disappear. If not, get the manual from the net and ohm the sensor out to the values found there. EDIT.........Try http://home.earthlink.net/~burntoast/index.html once there click on bac. The bac picture also shows the temp sensor
