vmmmm-blug-vmmm?? Unknown porting?

I have a jspec turboII in a 10ae, and ive noticed for a while now that while idle-ing itll make this "vmmmm-blug-vmmm-blug-vm-blug-vmmm" all the time. Now i know that porting will do the same thing, but ive never gotten down to actually taking my engine apart to see if i have any porting done, plus i wouldnt know where to start looking.

So my question is, would this be a problem with my idle/fuel (bad), or porting ()??

p.s.- would a wideband be able to help me with my problem even if i dont any aftermarket electronics?

Oh yeah and a wideband will only tell you the Air fuel ratio so you know if your about to pop the engine.

well I'm in Glendale but in Ahwatukee too due to house sitting and a semi running turbo conversion. been riding my mountain bike to work lately since the bastard won't consistantly run

The guys are meeting up at the pavillions tomorrow night. Check the west forum for the thread.

I think CRX and 2a+ron are going so far.

I can't give it a try and help you out. I'm new to turbo FC's since I haven't even begun to drive mine.

One of the FC gods in the forum here mnight be able to help diagnose it better than me.

I do know the common stuff though. Mostly altnernator, wiring, electronic problems due to me having them.

Try to explain it to us a little better.

So does the RPM change at all when it makes this sound? Is it EVERY time or at random times it will do this at idle?

I've had my NA sometimes to small little reving things at idle. It usually stops after a few minutes or after driving. Never tracked down what caused it

Does the turbo look stock? Can you see anything on the outside which might hint to engine modifications? lke polsihed stuff/aftermarket BOV,bigger CC injectors?

What's it idle at? I think street ports idle a little higher than stock and have a different vacuum but I'm not positive of this.

Does it have a loping idle or does it just misfire? Rotaries always seem to have some misfire at idle. How's your vacuum?

It depends, some times it will have a loping idle and other times it will do this vmm-blug-vmm thing, but its always doing something not right. Im also having this problem where my car will hit a hesitation at any random rpm, its exactly like hitting a rev limiter for a few seconds. This ONLY happens while the car is warming/warmed up (i notice it doing this only when the temp. guage hits about a milimeter above the "C") Can this also have something to do with it?
