who here has actualy used an emanages??? my buddy had one for his 3kgt vr4 and it worked like *** for him.....im 99% sure it wanst user erroro too, this kid is smart, but i too was looking into an emanage.........i

dk anyway.....whats response time with this compaired to emanage/safc?? i have heard about ppl blowing motors cause there is too much lag between the piggy back and the stock unit....well someone told me that was happening....haven't really noticed any problems with my SAFC though.....

but yeah....should this be more accurate than say a eManage due to the fact that its intagrated into the ECU??

im looking to ditch teh SAFC for something with more tunability as i want to turn up the boost and probably upgrade the turbo and want something more than a SAFC (im not even usuing it right now pushing 10psi with the 1.7 and i dont think ill need it for 12 or 15psi after i get the fmic...... but id like the added adjustability and something larger than 2 bar map sensor........so when u say its good for ppl that want less power, what kinda power are u talking?? im looking for somewhere between 300 and 400 hp........ proabably closer to 300 though.....

sorry if the questions are too vauge /make me sound like a noob, i ahvent explored teh vast world of tuning systems yet i just know the very basics

also if any of these questions have been answered and i missed them my appologies

$350 would be an affordable price, but still dunno how much money goes into this, plus you definately deserve the profit for R&D

but megasquirt isnt plug and play.
this is sort of how Power FC is for FDs but thats pretty much a full standalone

Does e-manage just show the % of injectors, or is it a real injector map
I know for timing it just modifies by a % like S-AFC which doesnt compare to showing real timing and having full trailing leading and split 3d maps.

I personally have made several replies/threads in reference to the emanage. I know I am not the only one. Between here, teamfc3s, and the yahoo emanage groups you will be able to find all the information you need about the e-manage.

The emanage will not blow up your motor; poor tuning will.
