Vibration...steering mostly

Ok, ive done a search and read a few threads. Found two that had the same problem im having, but they are old an nobody ever answered the op question, and they never posted if the problem was fixed.
So hear is my issue. When I accelerate the whole car will start vibrating worse the faster I go(mostly in the steering wheel)...but never gets crazy or scary...but it is enough to make me worry. When I turn left the steering wheel shakes BAAAAAD!! It shakes a bit if I turn right. When im under load and turning left its worse. The vibration in the car itself is enough for me to feel like a milkshake when I turn. While im driving straight it feels like a bad tire. Ive checked and dont seen anything wrong with them on the car...I am about to go pull em off 1 by 1 and check em. Any ideas?
Jeremy

Tires, alignment, wheel bearings.

I'd take the car to a tireshop and have them re-balance the wheels just in case to see if the rims are true, or close at least

humm could be wheel bearings allignment tire balance bad tires i would think if your shockes/struts were getting bad that it would cause the same effect.

Sounds like wheel bearings to me if it is doing it under load while turning. But bad tires and/or balance can cause this also or simply contribute to the shaking produced by worn out bearings.

If the WB's are gone how much play should there be,when im pulling the caliper back and forth. I have hardly any movement. Also, out or curiosity, I checked the drive shaft on both ends. I really couldnt get it to move much...almost none. That sound right? I took off the drivers side tire and found that it wobbled just a bit, so I took it to be checked for roundness. Guy said it was slightly out, nothing to worry about, but it was 3/4 oz out of balance. So he balanced it for free for me. When I went to put it back on, I found the weight he just out on it just lying loose inside the rim. Guess it helps to clean off the brake dust first, in the area your sticking those things.

Check your lugs too man..... dont' rule out the obvious. I installed spacers on the font, and every once in a while one of em comes a little loose. Scary.

lift the front, leep the tire on and move it up and down, side to side and see if there is excessive free play.

^ If so then also inspect the wheel bearings for chips/etc. after you clean the grease off with a solvent and let them dry. If they're still good then the wheel could just be loose because the bearings need to be repacked with grease. Also replace the grease seals when you do this. But in your case it might be bad enough where the wheel bearings or something else is actually busted.

I had some similar problems and I replaced my ball joint and wheel bearings, good luck with the race if you decide to go that route, even with the writeup its a ****, I also had some loud clanking noises over bumps, just the control link bushings, cheap and easy.
