Very new here(turbo setup/Tranny swap)

1991 rx7 non-turbo auto.

OK guys, im used to working on 3000gt's... i know those inside out...but i plan on making a quick rx-7... first thing i want to do is a tranny swap... i heard there is an aftermarket ecu for this... anyone send a link for this, i cant find links on how to mod these cars(without a run-around) now...i plan on turboing the car... from a stock motor (1991 rx7 non-turbo) best turbo for this car... and at what psi... again... sorry im sure this is like the 1234131 time this has been asked but i just want some links that would be helpful... also that sells parts for an rx-7...plus anything else i should know when tuning an rx7 such as small simple mods to make my rex faster...thx - ryan

What sort of swap are you trying to do?? Auto to manual or Auto to Auto or auto to manual Turbo tranny???

And only if you have an auto tranny do you need a auto tranny computer. The manual trannys are not computer controlled.

Mind you that the auto tranny computer on a Mazda is a different and seperate computer than the ECU (Engine Control Unit or also called the Emissions Control Unit). The ECU is the same regardless of tranny type.
