This thread amused me. Both the age and the question in general are funny. Let's see: tiny displacement with no power adders. You could build a pure race rotary and still not be much above 240 rwhp. Why is it so surprising that it's slow?

Disclaimer: I'm well aware you can gut the crap out of just about anything and with enough tire and suspension you'll get around an autocross in a hurry... However that clearly wasn't the spirit of the question for the OP or the guy who resurrected it.

Now if you think a car is running WRONG that's a different issue but now we're just talking degrees of slowness.

my car is running wrong. i have no mods and its much much much slower than my 86 gxl was. im going to start a different thread for my questions tho, rather than use this one lol.

the only reason i posted my initial comment was cuz i read through the whole thread and found it funny how certain the guy was and how he wanted to prove everyone else wrong. like, "ill show u proof! ill show u all!" and then the thread just stopped lol.
