p/s issue

ok guys here is my problem.

yes i know about the 1 beep repeate 1 beep and the 2 repeate beep repeate and so on.

this is not my issue. its a constant beep that never stops...ever. its not my low coolant, it stops when i pull the plug off the p/s computer or pull the 10A fuse fpr the p/s. the car is not moving...or running for that matter (key in on postion car not running) but it wont shut up.

i searched and found similar problems with no solution. when the car does run its the same thing and i have little to no power assist. its a 100% stock 87 GX. yes i checked the fluid level about 1000 times. to me its the power steering computer but before i go pull alother one out of a car in a snow bank (yes in canada we still have snow lol) is there anything else it could be

check the wire on your LOW coolant sender.(top of rad, single wire)If it is not connected or broken, the thing will beep, beep, beep constantly..and drive ya nuts.
This warning will BEEP when the key is ON but not started, and will also BEEP when the car is Started up/engine runnng.

alright well after checking my wiring ontop of my rad i sucked it up and dug out a p/s computer and problem solved. someone should update marks FAQ section under p/s

a constant BEEEEEPPPPPPPP: if you can pull your 10A P/S fuse and the constant beep stops replace your P/S computer under your dash and reinstall your 10A fuse and the beep will be gone. its a failure of cold solder joints on the cpu bord inside the p/s computer itself.
