vert windows....

Hey guys,

Lately ive noticed my power windows are getting slower, both up and down. I did the ground thing with a kit and sometimes i rev the motor to give them some juice. What do you think is causing this? I may have missed something on the grounding because i still get a slight voltage drop when i press the brakes in nuetral.

My passenger side is slower then my driver side. My driver is a new (as of a month ago) from the factory and the passenger is the original one.

As far as i can tell, the motor in the passenger side is starting to slow down. I've not messed with the switches in the slightest and i don't believe that the passenger side switch is carboned up while the driver side is not.

keep in mind that all the power for the passenger side comes via the drivers side switch, from the factory the passenger side will get less current to it just from the extra resistance in the wiring.
i had to put a new motor in the passenger side of mine and with the std wiring it was still slower than the orginal one in the drivers side. with the reylays both windows are now faster and even in speed. It is an easy mod to do that costs next to nothing and takes about 1- 1 & 1/2 hours to do. ;-)

I realized the windows are connected because the passenger side slows down even more when trying to roll both of them down. I didn't know that the power was going through the switch.

I would do the relay if it bothered me that much, but right now it doesn't...plus i'm lazy

i used a drylube stick that you would use on your door lock strikers and the like, but you reall can use anything that will stick in place but not attract every little bit of dust
