Vert T2 Owners .. a couple questions

Just a couple questions for ya guys to see what ya think about this:

I have an 88 convertible that I did a T2 swap into. Well some weird funny oddities still need to be worked out ... the one that sticks out in my mind is:

1. When driving in fifth gear above 2700rpm my shift up light comes on ? lol
2. Whenever I hit my breaks the "stop light" comes on in the idiot lights. I checked all the bulbs and they all appear fine. Even still I replaced all the bulbs and it still comes on ? lol wtf

any insight ?

Are you still using the 'vert wheels? I think their diameter is smaller overall than the turbo wheels and the speedometer calibration it thrown off the stock TII tranny.

Atleast that's what I tell myself... I've got the same problem.

I dont think the wheel sizes would have that drastic of an effect on the speedo.

The shift light would probably be the 5th gear switch not working, or not hooked up properly, or the wiring was broken. The brake lights shouldnt be affected by the swap (AFAIK).

I am having gear switch problems too. Also, are you using a T2 ecu or the N/A vert ecu?
