VERT+Engine swap= Hmmmm ?
I have been away from the forum for about 6 months due to many things I am not going to try and explain.
I swapped a 13B back into the Vert running N/A while I work the bugs out of the Turbo setup that always seems to need another bit of tweaking..
Here is the current state of the car-
13B back in with S5 T2 front cover
N/A manifolds/wiring harness/vert ecu
The engine is in and appears to be wired up. I get headlights and tailights, the top works BUT no dash warning lights, no idiot cluster, and it acts like the starter/ecu are not getiing any power as it will not even attempt to turn over at all. I turn the key and nothing happens. The only thing I can think of is that there is a little 4 prong white plug on the ecu wiring harness that I don't know where it goes. It has two thicker black wires (asssuming power) and a green, then a brown with a blue stripe... This connector comes in right with all the ECU plugs....Where the hell does it plug into? Any other ideas? Thanks and it's nice to be back....

Turbocharged Vert
Hey,
Good luck finding where that clip leads to.
This is the main reason I kept my vert with its stock NA engine. Turbo sucks *** when it comes to getting the bugs worked out and everything in working order.
Rather have a car that I can drive and not have parked up awaiting the next issue to fix to get it running.
Hope you get it running though...

That's just it, I am dying to drive it and in doing so have swapped back to the N/A manifolds in an attempt to actually drive it while I wait on the Boost controller and the Downpipe.

Let me clarify. The motor is a 6 port motor that I had put S4 T2 manifolds on (modified) to run the 6 port turbo setup. I swapped back to the N/A manifolds and harness while I wait for the Downpipe and manual boost controller. So It is essentially a STOCK N/A setup other then the remaining S5 turbo front cover.
