Valve solenoid-air bleed

I was messing around with my intercooler a while back, and the tube that connects to the left side of the intercooler snapped off at the valve solenoid-air bleed (Part No. N332-13-720). The plastic peice broke off at the sensor thingy, and i just hecka duct taped over it to partially rebuild it and maybe seal it up a little. Anyways, I was wondering what this does, because since then my car dies almost ever time i slow down to a stop.

It probably dies due to a vac leak from your "repair".

That solenoid is what causes the 3000rpm start. Remove it and propery cap it's connections.
