hmmm, there's a listed price, then there's a price people are willing to pay. I got lucky with my seven, 75K for 3K but I see people that sell them for five all the time. I'd ask for five and see the response you get, I'm sure someone will buy it.

I looked at the post, It dosn't look like there's been much work done to it to justify $5000 in this area. I'd offer him $3500 and go from there, if it's a recient rebuild, it might be worth what he's asking. If you want a TII, but don't need an s5, I also found these in the area.

Yeah I'd say 3000 to 3800 sounds about right.

1st one is the best. Go look at it and if its in good shape its definately worth paying extra over the other two listed.

2nd one.. why primered? Look, he wants a AE86, obviously a drifter, probably primered to cover accident damage. Willing to pay for paint? $2k min for an OK job.

3rd one, too many miles. Plus personally I don't trust it when they say 0 mile engines, that is used as an excuse for things to not work right. "Oh, its not broken in yet, it'll be smoother later, that smoke will go away"

I'm probably in the minority here, but I believe you get what you pay for. The best isn't always the cheapest, especially with cars. You'll end up regretting it later.

I don't have $3500 to spend yet. I sort of got this strange idea that I would be able to find a good condtion T2 for around its blue book value. Heh, I must be pretty foolish.

10th ae :p, do they make 20th ae for the jdm 98' rx7's? I could go for a couple of those. who cares if only 1500 were made, get the badges, steering wheel, cool alarm system and you got yourself a 10thae. Remember it is just another TII.

This isn't a 10th AE... I just somehow figured it would go for $2500 not $5000.

5000 is high just for a TII. Especially a 88, unless its got like only 30k miles on it.

look out of state. RX-7's seem to be pretty unreasonably priced in California. TII's around here are generally pretty cheap. About the $2500 mark for one in good condition. Your neighboring states probably have some more good deals out there.

I think being in the Bay Area goes along with the pricing, hell everything is expensive here, even the air! If I could get plenty of pictures to justify going out of state I like your idea. Other then Nevada, its an 8 hour car drive to Oregon.
