it doesnt cost much, just order about 6 feet of vaccum line from anyone you want. dont get the autozone stuff cuz it colapses when it gets hot. then replace them one by one so you dont get them mixed up.

get about 5 feet of vacuum line and just trim pieces to length and replace them one at a time. of course the UIM will need to be removed and if the gasket tears then you will need a new one, all in all, cheapest route to replace all of the lines is about $10 for the line, no other parts needed if you can save the intake gasket. i did all of mine, was simple and took about 30 mins with the intake off.

i bought some hoses at home depot, kind of like refrigerator lines but is thick. i replaced most of my vacuum/boost lines and some of my coolant. wasn't very expensive either, it's called braided vinyl tubing and can support 25 deg F to about 150 deg F and can be used for low pressure, water, and air lines.

I found a silicone vacuum line kit at either Autozone or Advance Auto.......it was in metric measurements too.....was like $16 and I was able to replace almost every vacuum hose under the engine bay.

Like someone else suggested....do one at a time and you will be fine. It really helped smooth my idle out and the car starts easier with the new lines in place.

Yep thats what Im doing right now. I was taking my tb off to mod it and a bunch of them snapped so I bought my kit for 16 bucks from autozone in blue and the kit gave me enough length and different sizes to get almost every single vacuum line replaced.

I have the same kit from autozone on my car, im now going to get different vac lines cuz these suck. when your car is fully warmed up, try squeezing the different vac lines. they are so soft at any warm temperature they almost collapse at idle.
I believe this is the best stuff you can get

IMHO using silicone vacuum hose is a waste of money...

rotaries generally put out around 20 inHg at idle. up to 0 pressure (30 inHg) during deceleration.

It's *very* expensive stuff. I tried to get prices (out of curiousity) after seeing that article. It would have cost me in the neighbourhood of $400CDN to do my car. Since I don't drive a space shuttle, I decided to pass on it...
