Which Vac Line To Remove?

"Get a hand pump for oil. IT costs like $3 at autozone. Mine only fits gallon jugs, but Im sure they make some for quarts too. You want to pump atf with yours. IF you suspect your car is flooded, get your pump of atf and raise your hood. ON top it says mazda 13b injection. Right below this there are 3 vacuum hoses. remove the largest one, on top, from teh manifold. Pump 2-4 times into this hose with your atf pump. Replace the hose. Let sit 1 minute, then start your car. It will smoke like a biyatch."

Works the same as putting in conventional motor oil. All it does is build up the compression. Some say ATF absorbs fuel, well motor oil aborbs other liquids as well and is safer for the coolant seals. ATF can eat away the seals if there for a long time. I can't see 1 minute doing anything bad though.

Better off squirting it through the spark plug holes and turning the engine backwards after replacing the spark plugs to make sure the oil stays in the chambers and doesn't get spit out through the exhaust ports.

There are other ways of unflooding a rotary. Do a quick search for "Flooding", "Flooded", "Mother &%#$*&! Rotary Enging Flooded Again!"

The 88 non turbo has three vacuum lines on the front of the dynamic chamber. One is larger than the others. That is the line that you want.

That large hose leads to the oil injector spider and then to the oil injectors. The oil injectors suck in air to the rotors when the engine is turning over. I'd use common engine oil instead of what was called for. IF I were to do that at all.

Then again think about what your about to do. Your going to squirt oil into that line. If you get too much pressure on that line there's the possibility of one of the lines to the oil injectors coming off. Not good. Why not squirt into the large nipple on the dynamic chamber? Same result. The oil will come out on the outboard side of the throttle plates but if you hold the pedal down when turning the engine over the oil will be sucked into the rotor chambers.

IF you squirt into one of the small nipples the oil will be coming out on the inboard side of the throttle plates which I'd think would be better.

three nipples on the dynamic chamber, on the front (alternator side), in a vertical line from top to bottom, going large, small, small.

I'd just pour oil into the chambers through the upper spark plug holes, IMHO. Goes right to the proper place.
