S4\5 dual alt pully on FD alt

ive read a lot about putting on an FD alt, which im going to do soon, but i have a dual pulley that i can take off my existing alt and want a GOOD answer whether or not it will work...
i will of coarse take this to a machine shop to be drilled to fit the FD's larger shaft, but ive read in a few spots that the FC dual alt pully will UNDERDRIVE the alt at idle. is this true? and what can i do to fix this issue? i know there is always the option of buying one for the FD alt, but i would like to use what ive got..

Comparing the two stock pulleys (FC and FD) they are basically the same, so swapping the stock units doesn't result in the FD alt being underdriven.

Is your dual pulley a stock or "race" (i.e., underdriven) part?
