The engine is a factory with 130,000 miles so if im gonna go through all the work to cahnge the seals, id rather just replace the engine because it won't be long before it goes

You know you could have a 50 cent oil leak with an o-ring around the pedestal or a broken mop line.

No trust me its not. Tt leeks out the front main and rear main. I had some one look at who is very expirenced in rotarys. He said that the e- shaft bearing were most likely bad causing the seals failure

buy the jspec AND rebuild it
that way you can take your time rebuilding the current engine on your own and when it's done, you have a backup

I would rebuild what you have. The J-Spec option is really more for somebody who doesn't have a 13BT core to start with. The only thing worse than spending $2K on a rebuild is spending $1K on another engine and then $2K more a week later when it pukes.

i got a good deal on my Jspec. Chris (SDrotary) set me up proper! 1100 out the door shipped to my house and the only thing really wrong was that I had to replace the exhaust-turbo manifold gasket. other than that, the engine is f-ing burly! My local rotary specialist says that I'm putting somewhere between 235 and 255 rwhp at 10-12 pounds of boost....

Sometimes you get lucky with a jspec like I did....

PM SDrotary....he'll help you out....
