metal center surround

anybody know if anyone makes a metal or fiberglass center surround for 2nd gens? just broke my 2nd one in this car...4th one since ive had rx7s.

if not, i might try and get some made...how much would ppl pay for say, aluminum ones?

I think the best option is the s5 rubber surround that doesn't crack. I replaced mine, been happy since.

Only thing you have to worry about breaking then is the shifter surround and the A-pillar molding.

Oh, and you have a really nice looking FC, f1BlueRx7, not to mention your mods.

Mine was busted to hell, and I used fiberglass to fix the broken areas, and after a bit of sanding, you can't tell. I can imagine that it wouldn't be that hard to just lay the fiberglass over the entire structure to reinforce it.
