FL usdm s5 flywheel on jdm motor??

will it work? i have to replace my jdm motor's flywheel and it had no counterweight. the threaded part of the eccentric shaft that the flywheel bolts up to is not looking long enough for my N370 flywheel/counterweight i bought to replace it. in all actuality the counterweight does not even slide on the shaft for it is not the right size. well what im getting at is, what do i need to do? put the usdm flywheel on w/o a counterweight or good searching high and low for a jdm flywheel??? im stumped!!!!!

is it a auto or manual? i THINK both jdm and usm flywheels are the same as long as they are within the same series. so u should just be able to use ur s5 flywheel with no C/W if its a manual that is.

counterweight i think are only for automatics. MANUALS have the counter weight "built in" the flywheel.

i know what u mean yet i thought the s5's n/a's at least had a counter weight bc of the lighter internals IE: rotors.

only auto's had counterweights. the s4 and s5 t2 flywheels should be the same between usdm and jdm
