Upgraded E-Brake cables?

Anyone know how to upgrade the E-Brake cables, basically to make them beefier.

The bigger springs: only if you want it to be harder to pull.

You can pick up cable at almost any large hardware store

oh cool! I didn't know you could use ANY cable.... Thanks! Why would I want to use rebar? Rebar as in solid rod?

Damn right! Isn't that some kind of double negative? Hehe

Besides some times I am a dumbass and forget to disengage the ebrake, alot of that is because I usually leave it in gear when I park it, then when I am on a slight hill or a place I do not feel comforable just leaving it in gear I use the brake and forget about it...

I also need to replace them, so I thought why not get bigger cables...

I say replace it with some good nylon fishing leader material, be a sport, don't use metal cable! Give those calipers a sporting chance to be free from the pressure!

I think you should really be more allert to the status of your handbrake and wether it is enguaged or not before attempting to drive off
