Question Unknown switch

Hey guys, i went out and bought a 87 GXL on the weekend and while looking through it i found a switch that is about 3/8" long and pure black, i cant come up with what it would be for. Any suggestions or geusses would be helpfull as i have played with it and havent noticed a thing :S

The picture i have isnt of my car so it wont show the switch, but it is exactly in that location in my car. i had to dig one up on short notice so to whoevers i used thanks lol.

Is this a push button switch or toggle switch??? It is mounted to the side of the console??

Sounds aftermarket, like for an aftermarket security system.

probably fuel pump cut off... lots of people add those.

or maybe fog lights if your car has them on the front.

It has to be a fuel cut of switch. If you engine doesn't start, you know to toggle that switch

Sorry about the threads, i kept getting time out error messages. Its a switch, and no its not a fuel pump kill switch, unless whoever did it decided to mount two I have one mounted next to the led for the stock security system.

Lol
I don't think many people, much less seats, can fit through the RX-7 sunroof.

LoL, i dont think im gonna have problems with a ejector seat. Im gonna rip it open when i get some time and see if it is actually wired up or if it is just a plain old switch. If it isnt maybe ill wire it up to something fun.... any ideas?

If it's on the side of the console, it's not factory. You'll have to follow its wires to see where they go.
