I was curious. Because i am a weight reducing freak i would like to know how heavy our front and rear bumper reinforcements are.

The huge metal/steel/whatever their made out of things that are under our bumper skins.

I want my car as light as possible
(my goal: 200 Hp with 2300 Lbs)

Think it can be done with an FC? i have removed alot of other stuff . A/C P/S Air pump I have light exhaust (Borla) took out the spare tire and jack. lost the Carpet sound deadner in the back hatch area. But i want 2300 lbs. Next is the carpet in front and the sound deadner too. Thanks for the help guys. Markus

 

I dunno. 2300lbs is tough to get to unless you totally gut the interior.

 

they are fiberglass.not very heavy.been talked about before,dont remov'em....

 

Relysis come out to Gandy bridge on the St. Pete side at 10:00 PM every saturday and find FAFracing. We are always in the same spot on the south side of the road and there is one FC among us that is stripped out and weighs approximately 2050-2100 lbs with a stock ported NA motor runnin low 14s in the 1/4. You should have come out tonight.... there was a stock ported NA 13b motored dune buggy that runs 10s-11s that handed a 00' vette his ***. We have it on video and will be posting it in the next day or so after the video is converted.
