Ultimate 2nd gen???

G'day all,

Took some photos of my mate's S5 RX-7. Photos were taken a couple of weeks ago, after Sydney Auto Salon weekend - hence the stickers still on the car. They were taken on the day of the purchase and fitting of his new wheels.

Don't know all the specs but he is running a 13B Turbo motor (notice the registration plates YGO-20B ??) with a Turbonetics T-76 turbo. It has approx. 530rwhp, and his best time down the 1/4 mile is 9.73 @ 144mph. The wheels are Racing Hart CR - 19x8 at the front, 19x9.5 at the rear (don't think he'll be racing with these wheels, they're more for street). The car is immaculate inside & out, & you could eat off the engine bay - but then you'd get it dirty. The car is still street driven. It will be featuring in the January 2004 issue of Fast Fours & Rotaries magazine (front cover).

Anyway, here's some pics.

Looks awesome! More pics! I really like the stock front bumper, those nascar type airdam setups look absolutely stupid. Stock look is much sleeker.

I see that NOS bottle peaking from the hatch! Turbo with nitrous is a wicked combination! Not to mention it will get you in the 9's.....lol You got some pics of the engine bay?

NICE S5!

Sorry guys, just had a power failure

Yeah, NOS is used at the starting line to get the revs up, but he hasn't used NOS the whole track yet.

very nice t2. Yeah those 19's will be just for show in the front. Rear might work but I know the 19's will not work on front

Because aftermarket bumpers look absolutely horrible.
