UGLY throttle cable

anyone change thier cable on thier turbo motor without a TMIC?

something shorter, or something aftermarket like from Lokar or something?

I used a cable from an n/A and just changed around the TB and made a mount for the cable

interesting, I have heard horror stories about people taking apart thier throttle bodies

did you have to take apart the whole throttle body to reverse the butterflys?

because it looping around the engine bay is ugly

I know Elliot, I will ask him.
I did his tailights for him back when he was trying to get his first jpec turbo swap going!

unless you modify the throttle body to open via the other side, your stuck with it.

i have test fitted the N/A cable, it was easy. Take off the nut, flip butterflys around, put nut back on. The hardest part is making a bracket to attach to the cable.

have you looked at using a bracket from an NA throttle body and modifying accordingly?

flipping the throttle body seems like the thing to do, I have a spare throttle body im going to do this to along with some porting.

I read that you cut the linkage end of the cable to shorten it, then resolder. Cant you just make a longer bracket to take up the slack?

Where can you get silver solder? Radioshack?
