i jsut removed my rats nest and all of the solenoids. everyone recommends that you leave the twin scroll solenoid, (the green one as you probably know.)
if you remove it, it just takes a little bit longer for your turbo to spool up... no big deal for me.

me and HAILERS had a big post about this... the only things you have to worry about is getting vacuum to the pressure regulator on the secondary fuel rail, getting vacuum to the oil injector air bleed, and something that i'm forgetting. everything else gets capped. If you premix, you can cap off the oil injector vac lines. AND you HAVE to run some fuel lines where you took out that rats nest... the incoming fuel comes from the fuel filter and runs to the primary fuel rail. the return goes from the secondary fuel rail to the gas tank.

to "get rid" of the twin scroll, all you have to do is take out the solenoid... to COMPLETELY get rid of it, you have to take off the twin scroll actuator (down there under the turbo inlet duct) and take out the little flapper.
