Twin Scroll install. (need help please)

I just got the rest of the parts to hook up the twinscroll again and was wondering how exactly I go about doing this. I have the fsm but just call me retarded it doesn't make much sence to me.

1. Where do the vac lines go?
2. where does the check valve go?
3. any pics would be great!

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me!

ok after reading this from a past post I have a better Idea however I have just a couple of questions

Look at the schematics in the FSM (pages 4B-2 and 4B-53. They will show you how to arrange everything to make it work.

"Basically you run a line from a vac source on the UIM to the check valve (arrow pointing towards manifold), then to the solenoid, then to the hard line that goes to the switching actuator. Make sure you connect the solenoid the right way."

"Follow the schematics and it'll work fine. If you install the check valve or solenoid the wrong way around it won't work. You could mount the solenoid on the firewall behind the UIM. "

quote from nzconvertable

My question is, how close to the switching actuator would you have to put the check valve? Also the line from the uim goes to witch vacuum port on the switching actuator? The one that is straight up or the one that is on the side? Thanks!

You are installing the twin scroll actuator, do you still have the vac rack?

Reason I ask, is there is a solenoid for that actuator actually ON the vac rack.

It doesn't matter. As long as everything is assembled and oriented correctly, it'll work.
Also the line from the uim goes to witch vacuum port on the switching actuator? The one that is straight up or the one that is on the side?
Firstly, the line doesn't go from the UIM to the switching actuator. The order is UIM, check valve, solenoid valve, switching actuator. Secondly, there is only one line going to the switching actuator. Follow my advice that you've already posted. Arrange everything as per the schematic.
