Turbo water pump housing different?

Guys, I'm in the middle of a turbo conversion and couldn't find the water outlet for the turbo. After some searching in the FSM, I found a drawing of where it goes. It looks like the turbo's have a different water pump housing with an extra fitting for the water outlet. Is this true? If so can I cheat it? I kinf of think I might be able th kluge it to where the ACV water comes from (I won't be using mine anyway). Any suggestions or how you have done this will be helpful.

The stock turbos feed coolant through the lower intake manifold and drain coolant in the water pump housing just above the lower rad hose.
