Turbo Wastegate Porting

I've just bought a whole bunch of parts for my 1988 Turbo 2, its completely stock and im just starting to mod it. Heres the list of parts i bought

Racing Beat Dual Cat-Back Exhaust
HKS SMF Performance Intake
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Greddy Type RS BOV
Apexi Safc-2
Racing Beat FCD

Im wondering if it is necessary to port the turbo wastegate to reduce the boost creep or can i leave it stock? and also im wondering what else i would need to keep all the above mods safe. I'm also going to add a downpipe soon.

Yes, with any intake or exhaust work, you will need to port the wastegate to control boost.
