turbo upgrading Q's

hey guys, just wondering if i upgrade the turbo to say like a BNR stage (X). would it be easy to swap? how much boost will i be able to run safely without blowing the motor. right now my fuel mods are:

650cc secondaries,
Fuel Pressure Regulator, and i believe a stock TII fuel pump.
Racing Beat FCD

to have my car capable of at least 300hp, would i need to upgrade fuel pump and my primaries? and i plan on keeping the stock ECU for now with a S-AFC. thinking about stand-alone in the distant future.

I would never go much above 10 PSI on a stock fuel pump, but thats just me.

i would think you'd need to upgrade the pump/rewire it, larger primaries and secondaries... i'd say no more than what J-rat said with your set up.

what do you mean by re-wiring the pump? just by a new wiring harness for it?

and can you guys give me an ideal setup that id be comfortable with.

i know an aftermarket fuel pump is going to be a necessity. most like a walbro.
how big primaries / secondaries?
with all that power would ill be needing a bigger exhaust system? it is currently 3" all the way

if you want to run anything over 10 psi, get fuel pump, rewire,680-850 secondaries, maybe 680 primaries to be sure, fcd, something to control the injectors(SAFC works) and a nice tune on a dyno.

Pfft... its hardly adequate for stock power levels. I would never push the stock fuel pump past 7.5 psi, let alone 10 psi with any other mods.

its been proven that stock fueling can support 10 PSI off the stock turbo. Me, being somewhat crazy, ran stock fueling to about 12 PSI. But the bottom line is, anything above stock PSI on a stock fuel system isnt necessarily smart...

I've watched a fuel pressure gauge on a rewired stock pump at 8 psi (MBC on ported wastegate) with FMIC, full exhaust and intake, and it was not able to support full rail pressures through the powerband during 4th gear pulls. The wideband told the same story.
One car was one an S4, one was an S5.

Another S4 TII I built detonated from lack of fuel flow and took out its engine. 8 psi, FMIC, full exhaust, intake, TID, stock fuel pump etc etc.
