Turbo upgrade...what to ask for?

Well I might be able to get a decent turbo upgrade for a good price locally.(might need a rebuild anyways) What would I ask for as far as upgrading? The turbo wasn't holding solid boost as it was, plus I want to run maybe 15# or so. Thanks.

Go for a hi-flo turbo. Some call them hybrids. Check out BNR Supercars for some examples of turbos and their prices. This place does great work. Contact them and you will get all you questions answered.

Why fix it when you can upgrade it, right? With a larger compressor, you can get more power with less boost pressure. Just besure to set your car up for the extra power. Especially the fuel.

I was just wondering what to tell someone to do to my stock turbo exactly. Like T04 compressor wheel, clip the turbine wheel(how many degrees), etc. I'd like to get into the 12s(mid/high would be great) with this turbo.

LOL, you don't tell them, they tell you. It goes like this:

You tell the mechanic:
I'd like to get into the 12s(mid/high would be great) with this turbo.

And the mechanic gives you options and price estimates like:
Like T04 compressor wheel, clip the turbine wheel(how many degrees), etc.

Don't make it difficult.

1. not everyone wants an 11 second car
2. I sure as hell don't want an 11 second daily driver
3. a full to4 is going to cost much much much more than a hyrbid. Dollar for dollar, if someone just wants a mid 12 second car the hybrid wins in my book.
