turbo tps/na
My 87TII has a bad tps according to the safcII. I think they can be adjusted[tps] but i don't have the tool. I bought a n/a tps for my 86 and never put it on, will that tps work on turbo? I know there is a thread on checking the tps, but i want a quick answer for interchangeability of tps from model to model if someone knows for sure. thanx.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Mounting brackets are the only thing different...
But you need to tune one when you install it. You can't just bolt it on and expect it too work

I'll stick with my first answer for S4. I've turbo and non turbo RX and swap tps at will. S5 might be different.

thank you both, mine is s-4 for both. i'll probably buy the mazdatrix gadget for 30$, just so i can have one around. I am vice-president of CentralFloridaRxClub which is part of SouthFla.RxClub. As a club, cars need this or that and should be a useful tool to have around. Hailers, thanx for responding to my questions as always, and Icemark also. The FAQ you posted is great. I have used the forum info so much, really is a great resource. I refer questions from club and clients. Let you know what happens with tps.
