Turbo Timer Help

I just bought an Apexi turbo timer for my Turbo II.
Does anyone have diagrams on exactly how to install it? Or if you could explain it to me?
I would appreciate the help.

Did you get a turbo timer harness for your specific car as well? Turbo timers are pretty easy to install if you have the correct harness. Go to Apexi's website for a wiring diagram if you dont have the diagram already.

So grab your copy of the Factory Service Manual (see FAQ) and use it to locate the ignition switch harness in the steering column. Disconnect it from the main harness and connect your turbo timer harness in series with it and the main harness.

However for the most part, a turbo timer isn't necessary with the water cooled turbo used on the FC.

Ok, I got the turbo timer installed. I took off the steering wheel so I could see what I was doing and now my alignment is off.
Anybody know what is wrong?

you're alignment is off? You mean that the steering wheel isn't straight when the car is going straight? Well it sounds to me like you put the wheel back on crooked. Unless while installing the turbo timer you got under the car and started adjusting the tie rods for some reason, then your alignment is fine!

Check the FSM and it should be easy.

Stop pulling **** off before verifying how NECESSARY it is to remove them. You're wasting time and adding more problems

What are you up to now?

okay just a quick question (i didnt want to open up a new thread for this)...i bought an apexi turbo timer for my 87 TII and the harness it comes with has 2 sets (4 connectors) for connecting it to the ignition. And in the ignition i see 3 sets of these connectors so im confuse on which ones im supposed to connect them to. when i connected it to one i saw numbers coming up in the a/f meter and o2. and on the other one it was blank.

well without reading the thread again ... heres how mine hooked up

I had two extra harnesses.
One harness was an intermediary .. and went from the turbo timer into the harness with four seperate connectors on it. The connectors shold go in between the four connectors on the ignition.

If you have three sets underneath the dash either your car is a ferak, you disconnected omsething you sholdnt have, or you are looking at a set of connectors that does not matter.

Trial and error it. You won't **** anything up.
