Turbo Timer

Hi,

I have a 87 TII and bought a Greddy Turbo Timer about a year ago and had it sitting in the car . Well now I want it installed and was wondering if anyboby knew of some place trustful and that will get the job done in S.W. Houston that you or someone know had theirs put. Thanks for the help in advance.

If you dont have an aftermarket turbo there isn't really much point getting a turbo timer.

why do you want to install it?

TT's are only really useful for the extra info they display in an FC, the timer is relatively useless with the coolant cooled turbo.

Agreed, turbo timers are not required for water-cooled turbos. As per the owners handbook, just stay off the boost for the last mile or so and no extrended idling is required. Gentle driving cools the turbo better than idling anyway.

Well the main reason I bought it is because I want it for lap times reading.

may be off topic, but is there a way to wire a TT with a fuel pump switch?

Not unless you've got one of them magic engines that don't need fuel...
