turbo swap..
Incredibly easy if you already have a turbo 2...
Check the archive section and you will find turbo write ups.
Also if your searching. Use I not 1 for TII for a better search.

S4 is a better ECU, because of r-tek

^Wrong.
You need to use the ECU for the series of car your using.
S5 will not work in a S4 for many reasons.
If you have a 88 then you are S4.
I think the ecu number is N332 but don't go off it completely.
The rtek is great for people staying close to stock.
They take your ECU and modifiy a chip in it. So pretty much you send it to them and then put it back in your car. The car works like it did before but with some stuff removed and tweaked. No dyno time or tuning is needed after installation.

i am wanting to go stage 2, i have a s4 T2 engine but running some custom designed intakes setup i'm working on. is all the Rtek stages or versions a chip that get installed? how do u then use your PDA with the ecu. I also have alot of experience with electronic's so i could do everything myslef. what do u recomend???
1.5 and 1.7 are a chip swap if I remember right. I think they sell just the burned chip if you want self install or you can send it to them.
2.0 is an addition of a daughterboard and a serial/pda port. This one is a send it to them only option.

All this information is on our website..

1.7 is DTI install only. 1.5 is the only one we sell as a "self install"
