Turbo sizing math question...?!

When doing the math to choose a turbo for a given application, how should I calculate displacement? I found a nifty online calculator at www.smokemup.com (you have to register to have access, but registering is free) but when I choose the built in "rotary" mode the calculated airflows are more than a 350ci V8, so something is borked in their math. I tried 160CID (80x2) but the numbers don't look right when I plot them on the compressor map for a T04 H3... That's what BNR uses for their Stage 2 and they claim full boost at 3800rpm, (12psi) but when I plot the data onto the map you'd be over the surge limit until you hit 4500rpm...

Anybody? ReTed and Evil Aviator I'm looking in your direction...

figure 2600cc for the displacement, but the V8 displacement is probably pretty close

2600cc = 160CI... but when I run the numbers it doesn't add up when I compare it to the To4 H3 map...

I'd say get a bigger trim than an H3 thats too small to be worth a 'full upgrade' turbo. go for a 60-1 or a 62-1

I'm only shooting for 320RWHP or so... looking for quick repsonse and bulletproof reliability for track days. But why do you say it's too small? Unless I'm doing the math wrong it's too big... doesn't make full boost until 4500rpm and has a lot of good efficiency left way past 8000rpm.

I am recalling what two engine builders told me about that wheel. But my goal is 400WHP+ so maybe its just too small for my expectations.
